Well, we have been here exactly four weeks now. Oh how time flies!
GRADY
Grady is going to a summer camp for about 3 1/2 hours each morning at the school that he'll be attending and really likes it. Tomorrow they are going to be taking a bus over to a butterfly garden. He is making friends and learning some spanish. This will last for the whole month of July and then he'll start kindergarten in the middle of August. Cannot believe my baby is starting school.
WYATT
Wyatt can now write his name and it's even readable. :) We have had a lot of time together at home with Grady gone and so we've been working on potty training, his letters and numbers, and some other things as well. He is very excited to be starting preschool in August.
BOTH BOYS
They are adjusting well and making new friends. We have been working on The Fruits of the Spirit with them in the evenings and then practicing them during the day. So far we have done self control and patience...and if you know boys... :)
HANS
Hans is busy working around the base right now. He has been fixing things and doing odds and ends that have needed to be done for a while. He is getting to practice his Spanish a lot with the guys that work the grounds at the base and is getting quite good at it.
ME
I'm adjusting again to being a stay at home mom and learning to live out of a suitcase. ONLY TWO MORE WEEKS and then we move into our permenant house. SO READY to unpack the rest of our things and get settled. We are so grateful for Nate and Maggie and that we're able to move right in to a clean and organzied house that is furnished for us.
PRAYER REQUESTS
Pray for our health and safety.
Pray for the boys as we prepare to move again.
Pray that we will meet people to share Jesus with.
Pray that the language would continue to come quickly.
Pray that hearts would be softened to hear the news of Jesus.
We would love to hear how you are doing as well. Drop us an email or a note sometime!
You, Hans and the boys are in our thoughts and prayers often. Thanks so much for keeping us updated.
