Making Memories

Do you ever feel like sometimes you just go through the motions of life? Do you rush through the day to try to get your kids in bed to have some peace and quiet? Do you just want this time in your life to be over so you can move on to what's next?

I've been there, in fact, it wasn't too long ago that Hans and I realized that this is the way we are living our lives. Hurry, let's go. Come on. UGH!!!! God has placed us here, in Costa Rica, with these people, for such a time as this. Why wish that we were home or in the DR already when God wants to use us here just as much as He does in the next stops of our journey. We're definitely making the MOST of the last few weeks we have left here. The pictures above show one thing we did in the past two weeks to make memories.


We went to Jeff and Erin's house for lunch, the power went out, we came back to our house to find that we didn't have power, went back to their house for pizza, smores, and a sleepover. YES, a sleepover. Who says adults can't have sleepovers? :)
