This & That
Above is an updated picture of the dentist office that Hans has been working on. Don't you just LOVE the bright green posts. It started as a light, pastel green...and they changed it because it didn't look Dominican enough and actually looked a little boring.
On Fridays I meet with seventeen other women for bible study called "Creating A Culture of Titus 2 Discipleship". Some are from S.I. and some are from another organization called Escuala Carribe. They work with troubled teens. Some are American, some are Dominican. It's a great mix of ladies and we have such a great time studying the word, learning about who we are, and getting to know each other. This particular day we were getting ready to have a prayer of blessing for Maggie who left on Saturday to head back to the states.
Above is a picture of Grady, Wyatt, and their friend Jacob watching Shrek and eating popcorn. Jacob spent the night with us this past Friday. So thankful that the boys have such great little friends to play with.
Update: We are doing good and staying busy. The boys are doing really well in school and are loving it. Grady asked me the other day, "Mom, can I go to JCS (Jarabacoa Christian School) until 12th grade." YAY! :) Some of you may remember the blog post I had a couple months ago about the cleaning lady from our other house. Well, we have been trying to stay in communication with her and she actually walked over to our house this past week to visit. It was so great to see her again and talk with her. If you would think to pray for us as we continue our friendship with her and that she would continue to see Jesus in us. She goes to our church, sometimes, but not sure where she stands as a Christian. Also, we have a little boy that lives two houses down from us that likes to come down and play sometimes, and we're pretty sure that he doesn't know Jesus. If you would also pray for him and our relationship with him.
Thank you for being you. Hope you have a fantastic week this week!!!!
