August 23, 2010 - We arrived in the beautiful, sunny, hot city of San Jose in Costa Rica. Little did we know that it would change our lives in so many ways. We were overwhelmed by verbs, pronouns, and paraphrasis. We were amazed to watch God work in our own lives. We were overjoyed by the friends we got to share 4 months with. Let me tell you why we did this...FOR JESUS! Over a year ago we heard the call of God to enter the mission field, something that has been in our hearts for many years.
December 13, 2010 - We flew out of San Jose at 8am prayerfully anticipating the departure board in Houston. Praise God, our flight was on time. This is what we drove through from Chicago to home. WELCOME HOME! :)
