Rain & New Friends

I feel like all we do is play in the rain!!! :)


Ok, so it rains EVERY afternoon and most evenings here in Costa Rica right now. So, what do you do after nap time until bed time...? :) You play in the rain of course. And, better yet...you do it with friends who have the same raincoats as you do. We were visiting with some friends that we met and when we were going to get something to eat with them we realized that the boys all had raincoats from Target. Grady's was the only one that was different, but still the same style.

So, we met a great couple from Alabama, Jeff and Erin (and their two boys Jase and Titus). They have been an answer to my prayers. I was praying that we would find a couple to connect with while here in CR. Not only did we connect...we really connected. :) She was a second grade teacher, like me. Jeff played basketball, likes math, and taught the youth. Just like Hans. We both have two boys the same ages, and when went to get pizza, their boys were just as hard to take care of as ours. PERFECT. Just another example of how God provides and takes care of us. There are a lot of couples here that we are so anxious to get to know who have little boys. Pray that we continue to grow as friends with these couples and learn more about each other and the culture together.
