Winter has been a lot of fun this year. The boys are at such a fun age to do things with outside. I am thankful that Hans likes to be outside in the cold to do things with them because it is just not my thing. I like to be the mom that waits inside with hot chocolate/marshmallows and a good chat about what it was like sledding and playing outside. :)
I cannot believe how much both of the boys are growing and changing. I feel like there is something new going on with them every week or so. Being a mom to them is challenging, very busy, stressful at times...but most rewarding.
Grady is going to be four in April. He is writing his name now. He knows most of his letter sounds. He has three books memorized and wants to know what every word says. I even have him point at the words while he reads the books he knows. He tries to sound out words now. He is such an inquisitive little guy. He wants to know about everything and how everything works. He is a good helper and loves to help cook. He is getting much better at being a big brother. He plays with Wyatt now instead of hurting him. :) He loves his computer games and watching videos of animals on discovery. His favorite things to play with lately are his skateboard, tractors/trailers, his lite brite, and his Tony Stewart car. God has truly blessed me with my oldest child.
Wyatt is going to be two in May. He is now attempting to sleep in a big bed. He is doing alright, but still likes to get out at night to come see us. :) He is saying a few words although he tries to say many. He says Grady, milk, more, please, mom, dad, papa, grandma (sounds like ama), huh (my favorite), and he makes a lot of animal noises and nods his head. He loves to color/scribble on paper, walls, and floors. He love markers which he is not supposed to have, but always ends up with them somehow. He likes to climb up on everything and then look at you like, "Are you going to come get me?". He loves, loves, loves books. His favorite is a truck book with semis, dump trucks, and tractors. He is starting to identify pictures and colors in books. His favorite toys to play with are his tractors/trailers, dump truck with legos, cell phones (particulary our real ones), and anything that Grady has. God has truly inspired me through my little guy...what a blessing he is.
