Feeling at Home

Town-Jarabacoa

Town-Jarabacoa

The boys love the new car...especially because they get to sit wherever they want.

We've been here about a week now and it's starting to feel a bit more like home. We know how to get to the "supermarcado" - grocery store, "el banco" - the bank, "la escuala" - the boys' school, and a few other places as well. Hans is the driver for right now...I'm a little scared yet. :)

Today Hans and Nate went to Santiago which is the closest big city to go to a bigger store to try to find a couple of things we need yet for our house so I'm alone. This is the first time being here by myself and it's not too bad b/c we have a scary looking dog at our house that barks at everything...and he's really not scary at all.

Thank you for all of the encouraging words in the past week and most of all thank you for your prayers.

Praises:
* The boys are adjusting well. The past few days Wyatt has been much better.
* We made it to 90%!!!!!!!! Praise GOD! We still have to raise about $7,000 total for our two years here in the D.R.
