There is so much pressure, yet so much delight in being given the opportunity to raise up two little boys to be Godly men. They never seize to amaze me at what they remember. Little sponges they are! Some Godly Boy Moments follow. :)

Questions, Questions, & MORE Questions
By Grady Miller
Grady: "Mom, do bad people go to heaven?"
Me: "Well, if they choose not to be bad and accept Jesus into their heart, yes."
Grady: "Sometimes I'm bad."
Me: "Yep, sometimes we all are, but thankfully God loves us SO much that he forgives us for doing those bad things."
Grady: "I should ask God to forgive me for always being mean to Wyatt tonight."
Me: "That would be a good idea."
Grady: "Wyatt should ask God to forgive him too right."
Me: "What did Wyatt do?"
Grady: "He's always being bad."
I know that this is only the beginning of the many talks, prayers, and questions we will have with our boys. I count it as JOY to be able to raise them up in a Godly way. Thank you God for my two sweet boys that love you so much.
Love, love, love the conversation with Grady!
ReplyDeleteI agree! Raising boys to be Godly men can be overwhelming but I'm thankful the Lord has enough faith in me since he gave them to me. Those moments are sweet and my prayer is that they continue always.
