Every step of the way...GOD PROVIDES.
When we first began the process of fundraising we received a $400 check in the mail with a card that read, "Hope this finds you at a time of need." We had a payment of $400 due that week for our language school. GOD PROVIDES.
We sent out support letters out and prayed over them that God would truly be glorified through what we were about to do. A couple days later we received an email that read, "We wanted to help you guys get started." With a donation incclosed of $1,000. GOD PROVIDES.
When we left in August for language school...we had EXACTLY the amount of money we needed to meet our needs in Costa Rica (which is less than we need for the DR). GOD PROVIDES.
We have had amazing, faithful supporters EVERY month. We even had one supporter that we received extra money from who died two days after we received it. GOD PROVIDES.
THEN, to top it all off. We received an email about two weeks ago saying that there wasn't enough money in our account to pay for our missionary training in Colorado and that it had to be paid by the first of the year. "Ok God, we know this is your will...but now what?" SO, as we're sitting in church today, a good friend of ours gets up and a slideshow begins on the screen...she says, "WATCH" We watched in AWE as our church family and friends put on a yard sale, auction, etc. to raise money for us. We get to the end of the video to find out that the amount they raised was about $5,000. I'm sure you can probably guess the amount we needed to have by the first of the year. YEP, $5,000. GOD PROVIDES.
If GOD PROVIDES for those who are faithful in following HIS will, why do we fear? Why do we worry? Why do we not trust in HIM?
God has called us all to something amazingly special that fits into HIS plan. Follow HIM. Trust HIM. Love HIM. Give HIM everything and HE will, in return, give you everything that you need.

What an awesome testimony to His continuing faithfulness you guys!! Thanks for sharing! The worst is that He provides exactly what we need when we need it, we are overjoyed and filled with gratitude, but the next time comes and we still can't help but worry a bit where the help will come from! You've got months of stories of His provision to hang on to during this next stage! Keep trusting and keep on sharing!! You guys are missed here already!
