Not only was I turning THIRTY, but I was turning THIRTY in Costa Rica!!! I was excited to spend my birthday with the three most important boys in my life and to see what they had up their sleeves to surprise me with.
The night before my birthday we took a bus and then a taxi way up the mountain to a restaurant. It had the most amazing view of San Jose and mountains all around. The food was really good too and I even got a free piece of Tres Leche cake. For those of you who have not had that yet...you need to try it if you ever get a chance. Muy bien. :)
Then, on the day of my birthday I was greeted with hugs and coffee in the morning, lots of birthday wishes and songs at school, lunch with a good friend that I've made (Erin), topped off with pasta that Hans made and a cake that the boys decorated. I would have to say that this was by far...one of the most memorable birthdays I have ever had.
I'm so thankful and blessed that God has allowed me to be on this earth for 30 years. My only prayer is that I can continue to serve Him with all that I have for the rest of the years that I have here on this earth. Thank you for all of the birthday wishes and cards.
