Preparing physically, mentally, and spiritually

Now we have 2 weeks. Let me repeat that again...TWO WEEKS. Only two weeks left until we catch our first flight out of the country to Costa Rica. We will be doing three months of intense language school at a school in San Francisco, CR. The boys will be in school while we are and will probably pickt up quicker than we will.

Preparing Physically
I have begun to start sorting through things to try to figure out what to take. Some things are packed and ready to go. Many people have donated suitcases which will be very helpful to take as much as we can. I have also been working on my tan to keep up with the culture there. :)

Preparing Mentally
Every once in a while I start thinking about leaving family and friends and it's a pretty tough thing for me. God keeps reminding me that He's in control of things and that I will miss my family, but what we are doing is serving Him and that's worth it.

Preparing Spiritually
We have been praying that God will use us as we go to Costa Rica. It will be three months of study, but we want to make sure to have an impact there as well. Scripture continues to remind us that if we love Him he will make our paths straight and lead us where we need to go.

As I write this I think of all of you...family, friends, prayer partners, financial supporters...you are a blessing to us and we could not do this without you. Thank you for being ther for us and loving us through all of this. Pray for us as we spend our last two weeks here for a while. Pray that we will laugh and have fun with those around us and make memories that will last a lifetime. Love you all.

Sorry for no pictures. My internet connection at my in-laws is not very fast. :)
