"When God closes when door, he opens another."
For the past month or so Hans and I have been feeling that maybe Costa Rica is not the place for us. It was a very tough decision to make because we were looking so forward to it, but God has something different for us. We don't know what that is yet, but we are seeking Him in all of this. Although the door to Costa Rica has closed...we have faith that another will open for us.
God has worked a lot through me in the past month through all of these thoughts and emotions and I feel like I have a new patience for going into the mission field than I have ever had before.
So, I guess I'm asking for prayers for our family. We want to do the right thing and we want to be able to be used in the best way possible.
Faith and a higher power will always be the answer. Your focus on others is a trait to be admired by many of us. I feel lucky to have learned many things from you. I will pray for your family not because I think you need it but because your family is what many others need.

ReplyDeleteSo good to see you a couple weeks ago! I admire your total reliance and trust in God to direct and lead even when you don't understand what exactly He is doing. Someday you will know. Blessings to you!
