Starting A New Chapter...

Next summer Hans and I (along with the boys) will be traveling to Costa Rica (God willing) to work as missionaries. This has always been a passion of ours and we are excited that now is the time. We are planning on a 2 1/2 year term at this time.

Missions have always been a passion for Hans. He served for a year in Canada and has led many youth trips to Canada and other places. He just has an amazing heart for kids and helping others.

I gained a love for the mission field when I went to Jamaica back in college with my basketball team. It's always been in the back of my mind.

Every time Hans and I lead our youth group away we come back fired up and ready to conquer the world. Well, when we returned from Costa Rica this past summer we knew that now was the right time. So, we contacted Lyndon and Krista and after talking to them we felt a strong calling back to Costa Rica. Hans we will be doing some building projects (which he loves to do) and I will be doing some sort of teaching, maybe teaching English or the missionary kids, or maybe something else. The possibilities are endless and we are so excited. We ask for your prayers as we plan for this trip to leave next June/July after school gets out. It is a huge leap of faith and an exciting start to a new chapter in our lives. We are truly blessed that God has chosen us to go. :)
